Description

The 5-inch High Limit Switch is a critical safety component designed for residential gas furnaces and forced-air heating systems. This thermal limit control monitors the internal temperature of the furnace plenum to prevent overheating and ensure safe operation. If the air temperature exceeds the safe limit of 140°F, the switch automatically breaks the electrical circuit to shut down the burner or heating element.
