The L160-20F Limit Switch is a critical safety component designed for HVAC systems and forced-air furnaces. As a high-limit control switch, it monitors the internal temperature of the heating unit to prevent overheating and potential fire hazards. When the temperature reaches its 160°F threshold, the switch opens the electrical circuit to shut down the burner or heating element, protecting the appliance from damage. Once the temperature cools by 20°F, the switch automatically resets to allow for normal operation. This fan-disc style thermal switch is an essential replacement part for maintaining the safety and efficiency of residential and commercial heating equipment.
