Description

This high-quality Lennox Flame Sensor is a critical safety component designed for gas-fired HVAC systems and furnaces. It functions by utilizing flame rectification to detect the presence of a burner flame once the gas valve has opened. If the sensor does not detect a steady flame, it sends a signal to the furnace control board to shut down the system, preventing dangerous gas buildup. This replacement sensor rod is constructed with a high-temperature resistant metal probe and a durable ceramic insulator to withstand the intense heat of the burner assembly.
