Description

This premium L155-40F Auto Reset Disc Limit Switch is an essential safety component for residential heating systems and HVAC equipment. Designed to function as a high-limit control, this bimetal disc switch monitors the internal temperature of your furnace or air handler to prevent overheating. When the system reaches the pre-set temperature of 155°F, the switch opens the circuit to safely shut down the heating element or burner. As an auto-resetting model, it automatically closes the circuit once the temperature drops by 40°F, allowing your unit to resume normal operation without manual intervention. Replacing a faulty or worn limit switch is crucial for maintaining the safety, efficiency, and longevity of your forced-air heating system.
