This premium auto-reset limit switch is an essential safety and regulation component for residential gas furnaces and HVAC heating systems. Designed to monitor the internal temperature of the heat exchanger or plenum, this fan disc-style high-limit control helps prevent appliance overheating. The switch is engineered to actuate at 120°F and features a 30°F differential, automatically resetting itself once the system cools to a safe operating level. Replacing a worn or malfunctioning limit switch is a common fix for furnace issues such as short cycling, the blower fan running continuously, or the burners failing to ignite. This durable thermal disc ensures reliable performance and maintains the safety standards of your heating equipment.
Our team is happy to help you verify compatibility before you order. We'll confirm it fits your specific furnace model.
