This 90-100F limit switch is a critical safety and regulation component designed for residential HVAC systems, furnaces, and heating appliances. As a fan disc high-limit control, it monitors internal temperatures to ensure the blower fan operates correctly and prevents the system from overheating. When the ambient temperature reaches the designated 90-100 degree Fahrenheit range, the bimetal disc triggers a snap-action response to open or close the electrical circuit. Replacing a worn or malfunctioning thermal switch is essential for maintaining furnace efficiency, protecting internal components from heat damage, and ensuring consistent home climate control.
