Description

This L180F auto-reset limit switch is a critical safety component designed for HVAC systems, furnaces, and heating equipment. Functioning as a high-limit control, this SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) switch is engineered to monitor internal temperatures and prevent overheating. When the ambient temperature reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit, the switch automatically opens to interrupt the electrical circuit and shut down the heating element or burner. Once the system cools to a safe operating range, the switch resets itself automatically to restore functionality. This fan disc style thermal switch is a common replacement part for maintaining the safe operation of residential and commercial forced-air systems.
