Description

The L190-40F High Limit Control Switch is a critical safety component designed for residential furnaces and heating systems. This short-mount fan disc switch monitors the internal temperature of the heat exchanger to prevent the appliance from overheating. Engineered with automatic reset functionality, the switch is designed to open and interrupt the heating circuit when the temperature reaches 190°F. Once the system cools down by 40°F (dropping to 150°F), the switch automatically closes to resume normal operation. This thermal limit switch is an essential replacement part for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of HVAC equipment, ensuring that the heating cycle stays within safe thermal parameters.
