Description

This high-limit thermostat is a critical safety component designed for heating and HVAC systems. As a fan disc limit control switch, it monitors the internal temperature of your furnace or air handler to prevent overheating. The L180-30F specification indicates that the switch is calibrated to open the electrical circuit when the temperature reaches 180°F, effectively shutting down the heating element or burner to protect the equipment. Once the temperature cools by a 30°F differential (resetting at 150°F), the switch automatically resets to resume normal operation. This reliable white-label thermal cutout ensures long-term system protection and is an ideal replacement for worn-out or faulty high-limit sensors in residential and commercial heating units.
