This premium York Air Pressure Switch is a vital safety component for high-efficiency gas furnaces and HVAC systems. Functioning as an air-proving switch, it is designed to sense the negative pressure created by the draft inducer motor, ensuring that the exhaust system is venting properly before the ignition sequence begins. With a calibrated set point of -0.90" WC (Water Column), this switch prevents the furnace from operating under unsafe venting conditions, such as blocked flues or motor failure. If your heating system is experiencing ignition issues or intermittent shut-offs, this replacement air pressure sensor is a common solution to restore reliable performance and ensure home safety. Engineered for durability, it maintains precise airflow monitoring to optimize combustion and system efficiency.
Our team is happy to help you verify compatibility before you order. We'll confirm it fits your specific furnace model.
