Furnace A/C Parts

We sell directly to the homeowner

Air conditioning and heat pump installations share the furnace blower but add their own contactors, capacitors, and line-set components. Most no-cooling calls come down to a failed run capacitor or a pitted contactor — both inexpensive parts, both easy to identify once you know what to look at.

13 a/c parts in stock, ready for same-day pickup at our Coquitlam warehouse or shipped worldwide.

Signs your a/c part may have failed

  • Outdoor unit hums but the fan does not turn
  • Condenser fan runs while the compressor stays off
  • Contactor visibly pitted, burnt, or chattering
  • Bulging or leaking dual run capacitor

Not sure which part you need? Call 1-778-759-9864 with your furnace model number and we will confirm it before you order.

A/C Parts questions

My outdoor unit hums but will not start. What is it?
Nearly always the dual run capacitor. Kill the power, discharge it safely, and check for bulging or leaking, then measure both sections against the microfarad ratings on the can. A reading more than about 6% low means it needs replacing.
What do I match on a contactor?
Coil voltage — usually 24V on residential equipment — pole count, and contact amp rating. Photograph the label on the old contactor.
